INGREDIENTS:
-Achari Masala(1tbsp of (jeera,kalonji,rai,methi dana,saunf,2 red chillies) and make a powder).
-250gms Tindli(make a slit and then two halves)
-2 small red onions sliced.
-1 big tomato chopped
-4 green chillies (make a slit)
-2 tbsp oil
-1tsp haldi
-1 tbsp red mirchi powder
-1 tsp garam masala powder(I used homemade)
-salt accordingly
METHOD:
-Cut the tindlis and soak in water for 15-20 mins,strain it and pat dry.
-In a kadhai heat oil,add the sliced onions and green chillies.
-when onion browns a little add the tindlis and mix it for smetime,then add 2 tbsp of water,cook on low heat for 5-7 mins.In between check for the tindlis whether it is softened or not(You can add little water to adjust)
-Now open the lid and add the tomatoes,haldi powder,mirchi powder and salt accordingly.
- Add half cup water and cook over medium flame with closed lid for 10 mins max.
-Once the water has reduced add the achari masala,2 tbsp water and cook on low flame.
-Add garam masala powder ,mix it,switch off the gas but close the lid so that the achari flavor stays in the tindlis.
-Serve hot with rotis/Paranthas
